You give sacrificially, and God's work in India depends on it. Here is exactly how we honor that.
We take stewardship seriously
Peter Elvin Ministries exists to carry the Gospel of Jesus Christ across India, and to steward every gift with the same faithfulness we ask of ourselves. Church planting, orphan and widow care, pastor training, and compassion projects all depend on people giving sacrificially. Every dollar entrusted to this ministry was first given to God, so we hold ourselves to a standard higher than the law requires: lean overhead, open books, and honest reporting.
Dear Friends and Partners in the Gospel,
Grace and peace to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ!
I was born in Andhra Pradesh, and I still remember the day, when I was twelve years old, that Jesus found me. Everything since then has been my answer to that one day: preaching at seventeen, starting this ministry at nineteen, and all the years of walking village roads. My dream has never changed: a Blood-Washed India for Jesus. All for Jesus.
But I could never carry that dream alone. Every church planted, every child sitting down to a warm meal, every widow who is safe and cared for, and every pastor trained and sent out exists because you gave. You have stood with us in prayer, and you have stood with us in sacrifice, some of you giving out of very little. I do not take that lightly, and I never will.
That is why I want to speak plainly about how we care for what you place in our hands. When the Apostle Paul gathered an offering for suffering believers, he wrote that he was “providing for honest things, not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men” (2 Corinthians 8:21). That is our standard. God sees every gift, and you should be able to see it too.
So here is our promise. Your gift belongs to the Lord’s work first, never to us. When you give toward a particular need, we honor it. A volunteer board in the U.S. watches over how funds are used, and not one of them is paid for it. We send resources to ministry leaders in India whom I have known and worked beside for years, people I would trust with my own family. And we report back, with photos, video, and stories, so you can see the fruit of your giving with your own eyes.
If you ever have a question about our finances, please ask me. I welcome it. Accountability is not a burden to us; it is one of the ways we honor you, and one of the ways we honor the Lord.

Your gift goes to the field
Gifts to PEMUSA fund ministry in India, including children’s homes, church plants, feeding programs, pastor training, and emergency relief, along with the modest costs of running a U.S. nonprofit responsibly. We keep overhead lean and our focus on the work.

Designated gifts are honored
When you give toward a specific purpose, your gift is applied to that purpose. If a project becomes fully funded, we contact you or apply the balance to the nearest similar need, and we tell you we did.

A board that oversees the work
PEMUSA is governed by a board of directors that reviews budgets, approves spending, and holds leadership accountable. No single person controls the ministry’s finances.

Leadership that serves, not profits
Our U.S. board members serve as volunteers, out of conviction rather than compensation, and are expected to act with integrity and in the best interest of the ministry.

Open records
Peter Elvin Ministries USA is a recognized 501(c)(3) tax-exempt public charity (EIN 99-4045706). Our IRS filings and financial records are open to any supporter who asks, and the IRS Form tab on this page is where we post our Form 990.

Every gift is receipted
Each donation is recorded and receipted, and year-end giving statements document your generosity for tax purposes. Gifts are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by U.S. law.

Your privacy is protected
We never sell, rent, or trade our donor list. Your contact information is used only to receipt your gifts and keep you informed about the ministry you support, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
